An update to my small Bolt Action BEF collection, a completed Vickers MMG team.
I'm pleased with the result and the poses. The private pulling the trigger fires on, determined to hold Jerry back a little longer, whilst another steadfast private feeds him the .303, still dazed from his head wound caused by German artillery. Meanwhile, a lance corporal has rushed back with much needed extra ammunition crates. I decided to use the bandaged head for a model in the MMG team to convey the dire situation that BEF defenders were in as the Germans overran France, and it made the MMG team stand out more in my collection as well.
The only model left to paint is the Bofors, which I unfortunately will have to leave to the end of the year once I'm free to paint during my uni break. So close to completion..
